Dear Homemaker,
I am continuing my Simple Woman’s Daybook entry for Mondays.
Outside my window: Flowers are blooming, and birds are eating, my husband has sown some bean seeds in the garden as well. We might get a little rain but it will be mostly sunny I believe.
I am thankful: For wonderful books to read, my son getting himself ready for school on time even when my husband forgot to turn on his alarm so the parents woke up “late”.
I am wearing: A maroon and navy striped dress from Talbots and nude patent kitten heels. My daughter and I have an appointment later so I will be leaving the house today.
I am creating: A set of teal colored dishcloths and a couple striped ones. One day I hope to sell these sets. I love the beautiful color choices. They are sturdy as well I use them everyday for any kitchen mess and so they are machine washed often.
I went: Today I plan on going to the gym, a doctor appointment and Krogers (grocery store)
I am hoping: This weekend I decorated for Fall. I made a wish list of items I would like to complete my décor.
5 dishcloths (handmade), 5 tea towels (2 embroidered and 3 store-bought), a kitchen window valance, a few more floral sticks, four small pumpkins for the kitchen window and a sign or floral sway for above the window.
I am looking forward to: Maybe having a friend over to chat this week. Getting more into a routine this week with housework, crafting, and going to the gym.
Here’s to a wonderful week filled with homemade goodness.
Humbly Yours,
Mrs. Smith

You should pick one up, I think they are very high quality and can be saved and treasured over time.
