Dear Homemaker,
Happy Monday, one of my favorite days as a homemaker. It’s a fresh new week and time to get back to “normal” life around here. Its been over a week since my surgery and will have a check up on Wednesday. I’m starting back to the regular routine and chores. The only difference is I will not go to the gym until cleared by doctor and will not lift heavy objects.
Weather: Right now it is sunny and 78 our high is 90 degrees. The grass and flowers have loved all this rain then times of sunshine. Mr. Smith gave himself a well deserved treat this weekend and paid to have the yard done.
Outside my window: I rearranged the table of plants outside my bedroom window so it was a better view. The bird feeders were filled this weekend and we have some day lilies blooming along with the ever-growing Lantana.
On my plate: I woke up and had my pink drink, later on a coffee (pumpkin spice creamer), later still some toast and small glass of milk and my water bottle is almost done with my morning fill.
Today’s to do list: I’m back on my Motivated Moms chore list. Im also working on the blog and getting some pumpkin mug rugs to send out in the mail.
Reading and watching: Probably some more Donna Reed and I’m watching Jamestown from pbs on Amazon video. Right now im reading The Good Wife’s Guide by Darlene Schacht on my Kindle. I found a Amish fiction book at the Dollar Tree so that was a delightful surprise.
Dinner: spaghetti and green beans
Crafting: I might get back to my embroidery this week and do a few more mug rugs.
Quote of the day: We will offer cheerful obedience from our inward joy. Mother Teresa from Thirsting for God daily meditations.
Have a blessed Monday!
Humbly Yours,
Mrs. Smith

Enjoyed reading your post, Mrs. Smith! You’ll enjoy ‘The Good Wife’s Guide’. I work for Darlene and proofed that book and the letter about the smile is from me. I’ve got quite a testimony as to how that all ended up. Love the mug rugs! Do you sell them? Have a blessed week ahead! ❤

Thanks for commenting on my post. I do enjoy reading the book. I actually bought it when it came out on amazon. I’m reading all my nonfiction books on my kindle again. There is so much good information we just don’t soak in while reading the first time through. I’m sure Darlene is nice to work for I also have her quiet time journal. I do not sell the mug rugs at this point but if you would like one just send your mailing address to smittywife07@gmail.com and I will send one your way. Have a great week.
